McKay's Dirty Birds Week 2 Results

In our first game we played Ballz Deep and had a pretty good lead on them going into the late innings but they took us into extras and then beat us by 1 in an 8 inning battle 15-14. Our second game went in our favor as we handled Double A plumbing 18-8 with the win coming by ten run rule.

Summer League

The McKays Dirty Birds are kicking off their summer league schedule this week on Wednesday the 8th at the TRAC fields in Pasco, WA with a double header at 6:30 and 7:45.

The Dirty Birds are starting their season this week also except we'll be playing in Richland at the Horn Rapids Athletic Complex and those games will be played at 5:45 and 7 o'clock.

May Fest

May Fest is being held on the weekend of the 18th and 19th this year at the Horn Rapids Athletic Complex in Richland, WA. Albert Ramos is hosting this tourney and it will be a blast as usual. The team fee is $250 and team winner of the home run derby will receive a t shirt.

Cinco De Mayo

There is a Cinco De Mayo tourney in Sunnyside, WA at the Sunnyview Park on Saturday May 4th and Sunday May 5th. Team entry fee will be $250 with a 4 game guarantee along with Silver, Bronze and Rec divisions.

Espo Invite

The Espo Invite will be held on the weekend of April 27-28 at the Horn Rapids Athletic Complex in Richland, WA. To enter your team in this event it will be $250 and just get a hold of  Kip Reavis who will be hosting this tourney and you may contact him at k_reavis@hotmail.com

NIT Tournament

On April 20-21 The McKay's Dirty Birds will be participating in another softball tournament being held in Pasco, WA at the TRAC fields. The winner will be given an automatic bid to Worlds which will be held in Las Vegas, NV in October.
