McKay's Dirty Birds Week 2 Results

In our first game we played Ballz Deep and had a pretty good lead on them going into the late innings but they took us into extras and then beat us by 1 in an 8 inning battle 15-14. Our second game went in our favor as we handled Double A plumbing 18-8 with the win coming by ten run rule.

Summer League

The McKays Dirty Birds are kicking off their summer league schedule this week on Wednesday the 8th at the TRAC fields in Pasco, WA with a double header at 6:30 and 7:45.

The Dirty Birds are starting their season this week also except we'll be playing in Richland at the Horn Rapids Athletic Complex and those games will be played at 5:45 and 7 o'clock.

May Fest

May Fest is being held on the weekend of the 18th and 19th this year at the Horn Rapids Athletic Complex in Richland, WA. Albert Ramos is hosting this tourney and it will be a blast as usual. The team fee is $250 and team winner of the home run derby will receive a t shirt.

Cinco De Mayo

There is a Cinco De Mayo tourney in Sunnyside, WA at the Sunnyview Park on Saturday May 4th and Sunday May 5th. Team entry fee will be $250 with a 4 game guarantee along with Silver, Bronze and Rec divisions.

Espo Invite

The Espo Invite will be held on the weekend of April 27-28 at the Horn Rapids Athletic Complex in Richland, WA. To enter your team in this event it will be $250 and just get a hold of  Kip Reavis who will be hosting this tourney and you may contact him at k_reavis@hotmail.com

NIT Tournament

On April 20-21 The McKay's Dirty Birds will be participating in another softball tournament being held in Pasco, WA at the TRAC fields. The winner will be given an automatic bid to Worlds which will be held in Las Vegas, NV in October. Coed Kickball Tourney

Kip Reavis is hosting a coed kickball tourney this Saturday at the Horn Rapids Athletic Complex in Richland, WA. Team fees will be $150 and single player fees will be $15 and they will place you with a team. A Busy Month For Tournaments

Well we are not even into March yet and there are already three tournaments on the schedule for the upcoming month. Dom Duncan is putting on the first one on March 9-10 at the TRAC fields in Pasco, WA. There will be a Men's Gold, Silver, Bronze and Rec divisions along with a Women's open division and it will be $250 a team to enter. Spring Fling 6 will be the third tournament in March which will be held at the TRAC fields in Pasco, WA on the 23-24 and will be a 5 home run tourney plus a power ball inning on Saturday. Dom will be hosting this tournament also. The team fee will be $250 and will also have a Men's Gold, Silver, Bronze and Women's open divisions.

Coed Big Ball Tourney

The coed Big Ball that is going to take place this weekend at Horn Rapids Athletic Complex will see The Dirty Birds mix their teams together and make one large coed softball team! Our first game is at 10 am so come out and watch us play.

Big Ball Coed Tournament

The Dirty Birds will be kicking off the 2013 softball season by bringing back the coed team and participating in a Big Ball tournament that Kip Revis is putting on at the Horn Rapids Athletic Complex. The scheduled date for this season kick starter is February 16th and 17th.
